Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preventative Maintenance & Technical Support:
    Lead the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. Collaborate with technicians to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, including fabrication, welding, and machinist skills as required.
  2. Troubleshooting & Repair:
    Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including motor starters, switches, sensors, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future equipment breakdowns.
  3. Focused Improvement & Team Development:
    Develop and train technicians to enhance their functional and technical skills, including troubleshooting, repair, and Autonomous Maintenance activities. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage team members to share best practices.
  4. Technical Skills & Fabrication:
    Perform technical tasks such as fabrication, welding, and machinist skills as required. Drive delivery of key metrics, including production reliability, stops reduction, mean time between failure, defects found and fixed, and work order/PM completion rate.
  5. Operational Focus:
    Work closely with technicians to deliver results, focusing on smooth and efficient operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution.

Requirements:
Mastery of Manufacturing Reliability Fundamentals, including Integrated Work Systems (IWS). Expertise in Clean, Inspect, Lubricate (CIL) processes and Defect Management. Proficient in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair. Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, and machinist tasks. Proficient in SAP Plant Maintenance and other maintenance management tools.
