Job Title: CNC Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join our Metrology team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing methods and sequences to meet customer demands within required lead-time and cost.
  • Continuously improve manufacturing processes to reduce lead-time, cost, and non-conformance.
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to deliver high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with customers to optimize product design for efficient manufacturing.
  • Manage technical projects from initial quote to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective results.
  • Resolve non-conformance issues to ensure in-specification products are delivered to customers.

Requirements:

  • Programming experience with CNC machines, including milling, turning, and 3/4/5-axis operations.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and measurement systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks/NX) and CAM software (NX/HyperMill).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-focused environment and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • HNC/HND/Degree qualification in an Engineering, Industrial, or Manufacturing discipline.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working in high-precision machining environments, such as aerospace or automotive.
  • Track record of continuous improvement and project management.
  • Data analysis and manipulation skills to inform decision-making.
