Maintenance Engineer Job Description

Blue Arrow is proud to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturing company to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to provide multi-skilled engineering and maintenance cover across the facility. The successful candidate will work on various machines throughout the Belper Plant, from automated presses to robot arms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine maintenance in line with the agreed site plan.
  • Repair and maintain plant and equipment to ensure faults are identified quickly and production downtime is minimized.
  • Accurately record all work undertaken for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Ensure all duties are undertaken in line with current health and safety legislation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a multi-skilled engineer.
  • Proven track record within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Conversant with PLCs and knowledge of robots would be desirable.
  • Experience with CMM reporting system would be an advantage.
  • A proactive and can-do attitude and a flexible approach to working hours.
