About the Role:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a child with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the child, their family, and our team to develop a personalized support plan that meets the child's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to a child with SEND, including academic, social, and emotional support.

  • Monitoring and reporting on the child's progress, making adjustments to the support plan as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND, preferably in a 1:1 capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of SEND policies and procedures, with a commitment to inclusive practice.
