About the Role

Zenith Services is seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop system architecture and software applications using mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, IMS, DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
  • Develop and maintain code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software systems.
  • Implement and maintain software development life cycle processes, including agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Zenith Services remains competitive.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in mainframe development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficient in coding in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle processes and agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend technologies and cloud technologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with banking domain and credit card industry is a plus.
  • Experience with API development using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and work experience on AWS is a plus.
