About the Role
The Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and organized Support Medical Secretary to join their team. As a key member of the Dermatology Service, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and prioritize daily tasks and duties to meet the needs of the team.
- Provide high-quality typing and audio typing services for clinical correspondence.
- Offer secretarial support to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Manage the Day Case waiting list, prioritizing results and organizing clinical activity.
- Liaise with patients, General Practitioners, and other Health Boards/Trusts to arrange ongoing treatment and care.

Requirements
- RSA/OCR Stage III or equivalent in word processing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience of working in an office environment and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to communicate with staff at all levels, and audio typing skills.
