Job Overview

As a FPGA Verification Engineer at ARM, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality FPGA prototyping solutions that meet the needs of our global customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of engineers who are passionate about innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verification of FPGA Prototyping Solutions: Develop and implement verification plans, testbenches, and validation checks to ensure the quality and reliability of our FPGA prototyping solutions.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with design teams, FPGA users, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, and to improve the overall FPGA prototyping process.
  • Methodology Development and Improvement: Contribute to the development and improvement of our FPGA prototyping methodologies, including the creation of test plans, testbench implementation, and documentation.
  • Support and Training: Provide support and training to FPGA users and other stakeholders on the use and maintenance of our FPGA prototyping solutions.
Requirements
  • Hardware Verification Languages: Proficiency in hardware verification languages such as System Verilog and Verilog.
  • Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, TCL, and Shell.
  • C/C++ Programming: Knowledge of C/C++ programming language for writing testcases.
  • Validation Experience: Experience in validation for sophisticated SoC products containing multicore and high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, USB, Ethernet, etc.
  • Arm-Based Systems: Understanding of Arm-based systems, including SoC system architecture and AMBA protocols.
Nice to Have
  • Low-Level Programming: Experience with low-level programming, including C and Assembler.
  • Advance Verification Techniques: Knowledge of advance verification techniques such as assertions, property checking, etc.
  • FPGA Flows: Experience with FPGA flows, including compilation, debug, performance, and implementation of basic features.
  • Linux OS: Basic understanding of Linux OS and kernels.
