Job Title: Test Engineer - Value Analysis & Value Engineering

Redline Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in Huntingdon. As a Test Engineer - Value Analysis & Value Engineering, you will play a crucial role in driving product cost reduction without compromising performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test plans and scripts to validate product performance
  • Design and set up test jigs to ensure safe and efficient testing
  • Analyze data and write comprehensive reports to inform product development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical validation projects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in value engineering and test methodologies

Requirements:

  • Electronics Engineering qualification and at least 3-4 years of hands-on engineering experience in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proven experience in making test jigs and running validation projects is advantageous
  • Ability to adapt and validate industrial components and prototypes
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and mechanical drawing reading skills
