About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will support the deployment of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) from the UK. As a key member of the Callen-Lenz team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of UAS flight training, ensuring the highest standards of UAS operations are taught and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and schedule training content for UAS projects.
  • Manage the training schedule to ensure all colleagues are trained in a timely manner in line with project requirements.
  • Ensure training compliance is met at all times.
  • Review and update training content regularly to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
  • Maintain detailed records of training and ensure all UAS competencies are correct.
  • Work closely with the wider flight operations team to ensure training for the program is aligned with wider business training standards.
  • Regularly assess the skills within the team and propose additional training requirements as needed.
  • Assist in the development of operational processes and procedures.
  • Ensure quality in all aspects of operating activities.
  • Represent the company at all times and work with key stakeholders internally and externally.
Health and Safety
  • Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety in the workplace by ensuring tasks are performed in the safest possible manner.
  • Report all hazards and incidents in the correct manner.
  • Participate in health and safety training as required or directed.
About You

We are looking for an experienced UAS training professional who can create high-quality documentation and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Essential skills and competencies include:

  • Evidence of relevant UAS training experience.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to create high-quality and detailed documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience working in an operational environment.

Desirable skills and competencies include:

  • Relevant experience of UAS deployed operations.
  • Experience in creating training content and schedules from scratch.
