Role Overview
As the Production Team Leader, your main objectives will include achieving daily production goals, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining a secure working environment. You will be responsible for optimizing workflows, monitoring team performance, collaborating with the main warehouse, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, supporting your team, and continuously identifying areas for enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold Company Health & Safety Regulations and promptly address any concerns
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and establish safe working protocols
- Facilitate training and onboarding for new team members
- Communicate and instruct team members on operational practices and procedures
- Hold regular team meetings to discuss updates and improvements
- Review and implement Company HACCP standards
- Ensure accurate order picking and dispatch
- Maintain adequate stock levels to meet client requirements
- Oversee equipment maintenance for safe and efficient operation
- Promote hygiene standards and a clean-as-you-go approach
- Foster strong relationships with relevant departments
- Actively seek process improvement opportunities
- Perform warehouse operative tasks as necessary
- Effectively manage and assess team performance
- Ensure compliance with disciplinary protocols and company policies
- Complete all documentation accurately and punctually
- Inspire and supervise production teams
- Plan staffing needs and create schedules to meet production targets.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a candidate with strong written and verbal communication skills in English, alongside intermediate proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office. Here’s what we expect:
