Procurement Category Manager Opportunity

ZipRecruiter is seeking a skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team in West Manchester. As a key member of our Strategic Procurement Hub, you will be responsible for creating and implementing category strategies for key spend areas aligned with our Business Units and Group Service functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop senior stakeholder relationships to expand procurement's involvement and control of non-traditional spend areas
  • Drive transformational change and improvement using your deep knowledge of sourcing and/or category management processes
  • Present key insights and updates to stakeholders, covering data analysis and market insight to ensure effective planning and decision making
  • Manage significant MRO and/or CAPEX category management
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Procurement, with specialist knowledge and experience in energy, utilities, chemicals, waste management, and packaging recycling desirable
