About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Environmental Services team at Together Housing. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the grounds and facilities of our properties, ensuring they remain safe and welcoming for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out grounds maintenance and repair work, including grass cutting, pruning, and other tasks as required.
  • Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental initiatives and projects, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Practical experience of working in a grounds maintenance environment.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekend and evening work.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
