Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant - SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Location: Southampton

About the Role:

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support due to challenging behaviour. Your role will involve supporting both teachers and pupils, helping to keep students engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with challenging behaviour in a classroom setting
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Provide individualised support to pupils to help them access the curriculum
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
