About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Head Housekeeper at Oxford Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of housekeeping staff to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Manage the ordering of supplies and equipment through our Trust E-ordering system
  • Supervise staff rotas and provide training and induction to new team members
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to meet the needs of our patients and staff

Requirements

  • Good general education and relevant experience in a healthcare or hotel environment
  • NVQ level 3 relevant certificate or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations and IT skills, including basic Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
