Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd is seeking a talented Design Team Leader (Senior Design Engineer) to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work on innovative projects, lead a skilled team, and contribute to the safety and efficiency of working at heights worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design team to meet critical deadlines through effective communication, planning, and monitoring of results.
- Maintain high-quality service by establishing and enforcing organisational standards.
- Conduct design reviews, manage engineering changes, and oversee the integration of CAD models with manufacturing processes.
- Engage with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Utilise Autodesk Inventor for CAD modelling, detailing, and simulation to optimise design efficiency.
- Ensure all projects comply with legal, statutory, and in-house structural requirements.
- Proven experience in leading a design engineering team in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, including CAD modelling, detailing, and simulation.
- A solid understanding of structural design rules, stress analysis, and stability calculations.
- A commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
