We are working with a market-leading main contractor based in Oxfordshire who is looking for their next key hire within their commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on materials, labour, and other relevant factors. Assist in developing project budgets and cost plans.
  • Tendering and Procurement: Assist in the tendering process by preparing tender documents, analysing bids, and recommending suitable contractors and suppliers. Participate in negotiations and contract awards.
  • Measurement and Valuation: Measure and quantify materials and labour required for construction projects. Prepare interim valuations, progress reports, and final accounts.
  • Cost Control and Monitoring: Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts. Keep accurate records of project expenditures and commitments.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks that may affect project costs or schedules. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and minimize their impact on the project.
