Management Accountant Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Hawk 3 Talent Solutions. As a key member of our accounting function, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of the Accounts Department, ensuring efficient management of the accounts function and strong financial accounting and reporting throughout the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Produce manufacturer composites and reconcile weekly and monthly balance sheet balances
  • Process monthly payroll, reconcile off-sales DOC daily, and check and verify sales commissions
  • Update daily estimates vs. actuals, reconcile bonus debt, and post and allocate bonus debts
  • Process EMAC statements, reconcile eBay, Shopify, and Amazon accounts, and optimize systems for efficient use
  • Supervise the purchase ledger, ensuring timely invoice processing and no debit balances
  • Run monthly suppliers BACS and supervise the sales ledger, ensuring debt collection
  • Hold weekly debtors meetings with managers and communicate effectively with department managers on financial matters
  • Prepare daily cash flow forecasts and cover weekly forecasts in the absence of the Financial Controller

Requirements:

  • Retail motor trade or automotive industry experience
  • Kerridge experience desirable
  • Organized and good communication skills
  • Excel skills and AAT qualification
