Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at Healthshare Group. As a key member of our Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy clinic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients with a range of MSK conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Expertise
- Assess and manage patients with complex MSK conditions, utilizing advanced clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating a range of interventions and modalities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Leadership and Education
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior physiotherapists, promoting professional development and excellence in practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and research projects to advance the field of MSK physiotherapy.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, utilizing clear and concise language to ensure understanding and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners to promote collaboration and mutual respect.
- Professional Development
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, evidence, and best practices in MSK physiotherapy, incorporating this knowledge into clinical practice and education.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including training, workshops, and conferences, to enhance skills and expertise.
- Qualifications
- BSc or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
- HCPC and CSP registration.
- Evidence of MSK-related continuing professional development (CPD).
- Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working at a Band 6 level in MSK outpatients.
- Management experience, including delegated departmental duties.
- Experience of quality issues and audit.
