Job Title: Educational Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to provide interim support to the Educational Psychology Service in Swindon. The successful candidate will work closely with the current PEP and Senior EPs to ensure a smooth transition during a period of change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide management and supervision to Educational Psychologists and Trainee Educational Psychologists to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Liaise with the Early Help Managers and Principal Officer for Health and Well-being on the strategic development of Children, Families, and Community Health services.
  • Work with the Local Authority to ensure the Educational Psychology Service supports the LA in meeting its statutory responsibilities for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in Educational Psychology at Masters/Doctoral Level.
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
  • Good Honours degree in psychology or equivalent recognised by the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience of supporting EPS at a time of change and transition, ensuring staff are supported and maintain a high level of quality and delivery.
