As a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (GPC), we proudly represent NAPA racing UK, actively participating in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
With a combined turnover exceeding 15 billion and a growing presence in the UK, our extensive network supplies light and commercial vehicle parts to over 36 independent garages, fast fit centres, and transport operators throughout the region.
We currently seek a Returns Processing Administrator to join our team at the Milton Keynes Head Office. The primary goal of this department is to relieve Branch Managers from the time-consuming task of investigating invoice and credit discrepancies that do not align within the system.
Key Responsibilities:
- To identify and manage unmatched credits.
- To accept, process, and match credits where appropriate, or determine if no further action is necessary.
- To reconcile credit notes with return notes and clear them from the system.
- To engage with suppliers regarding handling charges, carriage fees, and rejections.
- To address warranty claims with suppliers.
- To analyze the reasons behind discrepancies and categorize them accordingly.
- To implement solutions when no further investigation is warranted.
- To escalate issues requiring Branch Manager authorization to the appropriate parties.
- To inform the Branch Manager of necessary stock adjustments.
- To escalate ongoing or significant issues to the department manager.
This role description serves as a summary of the position and is not an exhaustive list of duties. The individual in this role is expected to undertake any tasks and responsibilities deemed necessary by the business.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MAM and Autopart or similar systems.
- Experience in Purchase Ledger is preferred.
- Knowledge of Credits and Returns processes is advantageous.
- Understanding of returns to suppliers is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
