Role Overview: As an Energy Sales Consultant, you will engage with customers to discuss their energy needs and provide tailored solutions. This role involves making outbound calls to individuals who are either considering switching providers or are nearing the end of their current contracts.
Work Environment: - Location: On-site
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM
Compensation: Annual salary of £22,678.50 (£11.63 per hour) with the potential for performance-based bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to customers, gathering feedback and addressing any inquiries.
- Identify sales opportunities and promote energy solutions that meet customer needs.
- Maintain a high level of customer service while managing multiple systems and navigating fast-paced call environments.
- Handle customer objections and complaints effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Training: You will undergo a comprehensive four-week training program, which includes both classroom instruction and practical experience with live calls. This training is fully compensated, and ongoing support will be provided throughout the process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, with a strong desire to excel.
- A proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities.
- Ability to stay motivated and energetic in a goal-oriented environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to sharing best practices.
- Excellent rapport-building skills to establish trust with customers.
- Understanding of compliance and sales processes within a regulated sector.
Additional Information:
- Flexibility in working hours is essential.
- Performance bonuses of up to £350 per month may be available based on attendance and sales metrics.
- This position does not require weekend work.
- All training is provided at no cost to the employee.
