Job Title: Gas Engineering Tutor/Assessor

BOCK Training is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gas Engineering Tutor/Assessor to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training on the Blueflame Managed Learning Programme and City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering course.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate students' practical and theoretical knowledge in gas engineering, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to students, covering topics such as gas safety, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the Gas Engineering course curriculum to ensure its relevance and alignment with industry requirements.
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students, addressing their specific learning needs and helping them achieve their educational goals.
  • Emphasise the importance of safety in gas engineering work and ensure that students are well-versed in safety protocols and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessment results, and attendance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the gas engineering field to provide the most relevant education.
  • Collect and provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Gas Safe Registration (or equivalent certification).
  • Proven experience as a gas engineer in the industry.
  • Previous experience in teaching, training, or assessing in a similar educational setting is desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of gas engineering regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse student needs.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
