We are seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance our Transportation division.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for the effective implementation and ongoing enhancement of quality benchmarks across Kier Transportation Major Projects, which encompass large-scale initiatives.
Your role will involve collaboration with clients and project leaders, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory standards while promoting the core values of Kier Group.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will spearhead quality assurance efforts, mentor team members, and serve as the primary liaison for quality-related concerns, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and internal protocols.
- Take ownership of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and their associated Checklists, ensuring compliance throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Implement quality and technical assurance requirements to ensure ITPs are formatted correctly and meet project specifications.
- Foster relationships with designers, client representatives, and internal stakeholders to manage all quality and assurance aspects related to ITPs.
- Provide active support to Section Quality and Completion Managers and Assurance Engineers.
Qualifications:
This position is ideal for candidates who possess:
- Experience as an Internal Auditor.
- The ability to apply quality assurance expertise to assist teams in addressing nonconformities and communicating lessons learned.
- Exceptional communication and engagement skills.
