About the Role
The newly created position of People Data Analyst will be a key member of our People Team, working closely with our Talent Team, Business Partners, and Chief People Officer. The primary focus of this role is to unlock valuable insights through meticulous data management, analysis, and reporting, providing insights that help us to understand how our people are feeling and making recommendations to drive our People strategy forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Collate, analyze, and report on People data to provide the wider team/business with clear and visually appealing information, generating actionable insights.
- Bring together multiple data sources (quantitative and qualitative) to reveal patterns, correlations, and explain any unexpected variances.
- Enable and unlock data and insight to inform our key People analysis priority areas.
- Utilize a range of analytical tools to investigate trends and opportunities, incorporating business-wide issues into the analysis and outputs in order to promote effective and business-led decision making.
- Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of People data.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of People data to identify and resolve any discrepancies and anomalies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data validation processes and ensure adherence to data governance policies.
- Support the People team with preparing, cleansing, and migrating various data sources into the new People System (HRIS), and enabling future integration with other people systems.
Requirements
- Advanced analytics skills, with recent experience handling, analyzing, and generating insight from People/HR data systems and processes.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate outputs clearly, summarizing disparate or complex data into easily understood reports using charts, tables, and narrative as appropriate.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, commercial business with a flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to change.
