Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled, on-site IT Administrator to join our Technology department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and optimization of our IT infrastructure while providing exceptional support to our internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive 1st and 2nd line support for software and hardware issues, resolving technical problems promptly and efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage Microsoft 365 suite, including user administration, email configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee hybrid Active Directory/Entra systems, managing user accounts, group policies, and access controls.
- Perform software and hardware installations, upgrades, and patches, adhering to best practices and minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Administer network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure seamless connectivity and data security.
- Implement and maintain backup solutions to safeguard critical data and facilitate disaster recovery processes.
- Manage CCTV and door entry systems, ensuring functionality and security compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials standards, implementing security measures and conducting audits as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in IT administration, with proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
- Experience with Active Directory/Entra systems, including user management and group policies.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing 1st and 2nd line support for software and hardware issues.
- Familiarity with network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Prior experience with backup solutions and CCTV systems preferred.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
