About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Northern Lifetime Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our client, enabling her to live an independent life in her own home and in the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance and support to our client, including:

  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Accompanying our client on outings and activities, such as bowling and Boccia
  • Providing transportation for our client, using a manual and automatic vehicle
  • Assisting with domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to our client

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with cerebral palsy and will be able to provide a non-judgmental and respectful approach to care. You will be required to work on a rota basis, as part of a 24-hour support team, and will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to our client's support plan.

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • Compassionate and empathetic, with a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with cerebral palsy
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to our client's support plan
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
