Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain clear communication with vendors to resolve any invoice discrepancies or payment inquiries.
  • Track outstanding invoices and follow up with relevant parties to ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare and process payment transactions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analyses related to accounts payable.
  • Support the finance team in various accounting tasks, including expense reimbursements and statutory reporting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in accounts payable functions within a corporate environment.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
