Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team and further build out our internal audit function.
This is a newly created role responsible for monitoring the control environment across Banijay Entertainment through conducting internal audit reviews, identifying control gaps, and developing action plans to address them.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the Head of Internal Audit to develop and implement the internal audit plan, ensuring alignment with the company's risk management strategy.
- Lead and deliver internal audit reviews, including planning, scoping, and executing a program of work to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
- Communicate findings and work with management to develop and implement action plans to address control gaps.
- Prepare and finalize audit reports, ensuring clear and concise communication of findings and recommendations.
- Follow up with management on agreed actions and ensure successful closure of audit findings.
- Assist the Head of Internal Audit in preparing internal audit content and progress updates for the Banijay Executive Team and Audit Committee.
- Collaborate with process owners across the company to educate and promote the importance of an effective control environment, risk management, and internal audit.
- Chartered Accountant or CIA qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years internal audit experience, preferably in the media industry.
- Strong knowledge of business processes and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working with senior management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a track record of building effective business relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management skills.
- Fluent in English.
International travel opportunities (circa 25%).
Hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days per week in the office.
