Weetabix - Energy Management Coordinator Position
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an Energy Management Coordinator to take charge of our Energy Centre and assist in ensuring compliance with facilities regulations. This position will play a crucial role in implementing and upholding safety protocols in line with Weetabix standards, while executing responsibilities that promote safety, quality, and environmental stewardship across our operations.
The ideal candidate will:
- Analyze energy and system data to provide insights and recommendations, showcasing strong organizational, communication, and persuasive abilities.
- Manage the daily operations of the Energy Centre and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems, collaborating closely with Engineering Teams to support Boiler House functions.
- Ensure that routine assessments are conducted to meet legal requirements and compliance standards.
- Assist with critical Asset compliance tasks related to Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
- Contribute to Sustainability and Environmental initiatives.
- Conduct safety audits for the Energy Centre.
- Coordinate with contractors for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks for the Energy Centre and related services.
- Oversee repairs and maintenance for the Energy Centre utilizing the Weetabix Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Be available for occasional on-call duties and weekend support.
- Assist in developing and promoting energy conservation initiatives.
- Manage Energy Metering Devices throughout the estate and compile data for auditing purposes.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Engineering Qualification such as HNC, HND, or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy disciplines.
- BOAS certification.
- Experience in Boiler House and CHP operations.
- General knowledge and experience in Asset compliance.
