**Job Title:** Water Regulations Inspector - Thames Valley Area
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Regulations Inspector to join our team at Thames Water. As a Water Regulations Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in the Thames Valley area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of domestic and non-domestic properties to ensure compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
- Audit approved plumbers to monitor their competency and customer care.
- Audit RPZ valve installations to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
- Participate in high-risk/high-profile investigations, such as water quality contamination cases.
- Support notifications related to plumbing alterations under Regulation 5 of the Water Fittings Regulations.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competent in using company IT systems and office software.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and internal processes.
- City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in the enforcement of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (advantageous).
- Relevant industry experience and understanding of the business (beneficial).
