Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our team at Randstad Technologies Recruitment. As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a critical role in managing employee relations matters and providing expert advice to Line Managers and P&O Business Partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice on employee relations issues, including performance improvement, conduct, grievances, sickness absence, flexible working requests, and workplace concerns.
- Partner with Line Managers to develop and implement performance improvement processes, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Interpret and apply employee relations policies, ensuring compliance with employment law and company principles.
- Collaborate with the AR Manager and AR Lead on complex or high-risk situations, and input case details into Service Now (SNOW) for accurate tracking and management.
- Use data and insights to identify areas for intervention and improvement, and partner with the AR Manager to track and report on employee relations trends.
- Coach and develop the skills of Line Managers, enabling them to handle people issues effectively and independently.
- Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, business transfers, and changes to terms and conditions of employment.
- Partner with internal and external legal counsel on complex employment issues, and assist with Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) in collaboration with internal legal teams and data privacy groups.
- Significant experience in Human Resources, with a focus on Employee Relations.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and ability to manage risk effectively.
- Experience in coaching managers on performance and conduct matters.
- Experience with P&O data analytics and insight generation.
