Role Summary:

The Battery Testing Department is dedicated to delivering comprehensive testing services for batteries, modules, and cells, focusing on performance, life cycle, durability, and abuse testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-line and end-of-line production tests for battery modules in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure the safe handling of batteries and associated electronic hardware throughout the testing phases.
  • Identify and report any inconsistencies or anomalies to the Test Engineer or Battery Systems Engineer.
  • Perform visual and manual inspections of components and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Accurately document and record test data in a timely manner.
  • Support the traceability of tested batteries and associated hardware from inception to completion.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Preferred understanding of electrical engineering or electronics.
  • Basic knowledge of CAN signals and inter-device communication is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams is beneficial.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are essential.
  • Basic knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance is a plus.
  • Experience with battery cells, modules, and packs is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly line setting is advantageous.
