Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of prospective foster carers to determine their suitability for fostering
- Work closely with the Recruitment and Assessment team to ensure a smooth and efficient assessment process
- Develop and maintain relationships with foster carers and children's social work teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to fostering
As a Social Worker with our Fostering Service, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and passionate team who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow and succeed in your role.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in social work, excellent assessment and communication skills, and a commitment to working with vulnerable children and families. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
