About the Role

As an Activities Coordinator at HC-One, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and implement engaging activities that cater to their diverse interests and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programmes that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and community engagement initiatives.
  • Work closely with care staff to ensure seamless integration of activities into daily routines.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify residents' preferences and adapt activities accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care setting.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with activity planning software.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of residents.
