Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Band 5 Nurses to become part of our Specialist Medicine team at Barts Health NHS Trust.
The Specialist Medicine Ward (13D) is a vibrant unit within our specialist medicine division, focusing on acute medicine, haematology, endocrinology, and metabolic medicine.
Our approach to patient care is multidisciplinary, requiring you to demonstrate independent problem-solving abilities while collaborating effectively within a larger team. This role offers opportunities for professional growth, including the chance to take on the role of link nurse and develop leadership and critical care competencies with guidance from the Practice Development Nurse. Additionally, we provide the opportunity to achieve a CPPD in diabetic care through City University.

You will need to possess outstanding communication skills and a dedication to providing safe and compassionate care. We encourage innovative ideas and are committed to continuously enhancing our patient care delivery.
