Job Title: Social Care Assistant - Gosforth

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Location: Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Care Assistant to join our team in Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to a 65-year-old gentleman with semantic dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the individual to his favourite venues, including his local pub
  • Support the individual with daily tasks, such as preparing drinks and snacks
  • Monitor the individual's safety and well-being
  • Assist the individual with his strict routine and daily activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with dementia
  • Knowledge of dementia care and support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
