About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled R&D Tax Relief Specialist to join our team at BDO UK. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the preparation of technical and financial assessments for R&D tax relief claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical and financial discussions with existing and potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, including CEOs, finance directors, and technical directors.
  • Collaborate with our specialist innovation and technology group to provide R&D tax relief services to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations affecting R&D tax relief claims.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the R&D tax relief services or industry equivalent.
  • Strong technical and financial skills, with the ability to identify and analyze complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
