Site Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Construction Manager to lead our construction team at FJ Booth Construction Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate the site-based team to ensure health, safety, and environmental performance standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Monitor progress of the build programme and take corrective action to bring progress back in line.
  • Agree and manage equipment, plant, staffing, and sub-contract requirements for the site.
  • Work with the office to respond to queries from trades and manage the recruitment and induction of new employees.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in site construction, including effective manpower management, client-facing meetings, planning, and programming challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications, including a valid SMSTS certificate, full UK driving license, CSCS card at Site Manager level or equivalent, BTEC diploma in Building Construction, or NVQ Level 3 or 4.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a site manager, with the ability to chair and run meetings, and a proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation.
  • Experience with preparation of all health and safety paperwork.
