Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Banking Solicitor to join our expanding team within an award-winning national law firm. As a Banking Solicitor, you will be responsible for a variety of legal work including corporate banking, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, real estate finance, government finance, and debt capital market transactions.

About the Role: As a Banking Solicitor, you will work closely with the corporate and real estate teams on financing aspects of their deals. You will be responsible for advising clients on complex financial transactions, drafting and negotiating contracts, and providing expert legal advice on banking and finance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on corporate banking, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, real estate finance, government finance, and debt capital market transactions
  • Working closely with the corporate and real estate teams on financing aspects of their deals
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Providing expert legal advice on banking and finance matters
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 12 months PQE in the banking and finance sector. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to translate a good commercial acumen to others, and good negotiation skills. You will be a team player with the ability to think on your feet and deploy knowledge in changing situations.
