Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Service Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in the UK.

The Mechanical Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to industrial processing and engineering sites across the UK and overseas.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough process inspections and site audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Compiling detailed survey reports to inform maintenance and engineering decisions
  • Completing energy audits to optimize equipment performance
  • Providing on-site maintenance and engineering support to ensure seamless operations
  • Optimizing customer equipment to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Commissioning new and refurbished equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Producing safety documentation (RAMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Managing sites and liaising with customers to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
  • Fault finding on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure prompt resolution
  • Responding to call-out work on machine break downs to ensure minimal disruption to operations

We are looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer with:

  • HNC qualification in a relevant field
  • Apprenticeship or electrical/mechanical engineering qualification
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and plant
  • Sound understanding of electrical/electronic controls
  • Proficient IT skills and ability to use MS Office

A full UK driving license is required, as is the ability to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
