BIM Coordinator

The MEP Coordinator will work with the International Construction Team to ensure successful management and completion of all MEP trade work, delivering project solutions to time and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead subcontractors throughout the project duration, adhering to contract requirements.
• Create operational programmes to demonstrate project delivery, using the NEC4 recognised process.
• Make recommendations for subcontract appointments, ensuring compliance with contract documents.
• Complete technical analysis of subcontractor tender submissions.
• Manage, coordinate, and quality control all relevant MEP parties, ensuring compliance with G3 Standards.
• Establish MEP procurement/packaging strategies aligned with building fabric elements, in conjunction with the procurement department.
• Identify, manage, and contain risks inherent in the procurement strategy.
• Conduct site visits to review works completed, checking quality and compliance to specifications and drawings.

Requirements:

• Relevant mechanical/electrical certification.
• Desirable: 18th Edition BS7671 Electrical Test and Commission.
• Experience managing mechanical and electrical elements of projects in the construction/MEP environment.
• Experience dealing with MEP subcontractors.
• Overseas experience desirable.
