Job Summary:

A leading construction consultancy firm, Aldwych Consulting Ltd, is seeking an experienced MEP Cost Manager to join their Real Estate team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation process of a revised reporting structure across all MEP Design & Construction and retail projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage aspects of MEP quantity surveying and cost consultancy, including pre and post-contract duties.
  • Assist in producing MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
  • Input to the tender process, review and analyze MEP tender returns, and support recommendations to the client.
  • Produce guidance notes on the reporting structure to ensure clients and vendors are adequately trained.
  • Manage stakeholders through chairing client meetings and presenting findings from data reported by vendors.
  • Publish and present monthly reports, monthly programme dashboards, and bi-weekly status reports.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full MEP project life cycle.
  • Professionally qualified (RICS, CIBSE, or similar).
  • Degree or HNC level qualification.
  • Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients.
  • Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below).
  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Utilize digital software for delivery of cost management services.
