Position Overview

Fabletics is a leading global fashion brand that operates some of the most successful online retail platforms, including Fabletics, Savage X Fenty, JustFab, Yitty, ShoeDazzle, and FabKids. We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Tax Strategist to join our dynamic team in the London office.

Your Role:

As a Senior Tax Strategist, you will collaborate closely with our Finance, Accounting, and Tax teams across Europe and the US. Your primary responsibilities will encompass overseeing VAT compliance throughout Europe and the UK, managing both direct and indirect tax audits, monitoring tax deadlines, and preparing corporate tax returns. You will also support month-end and year-end tax activities. This role is essential within our global tax organization, and you will have the chance to engage with cross-functional teams to enhance our financial systems and processes. We are looking for a committed professional who excels in communication, possesses strong technical skills, and is eager to tackle challenges and learn continuously. Your aim will be to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This position will report directly to the Vice President of Global Tax.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with local finance teams to manage monthly and quarterly VAT, OSS, and Intrastat submissions for all European and UK jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with local accounting teams to ensure accurate reconciliation of all tax-related balance sheet accounts, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and VAT, on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Oversee annual Corporate Income and Trade Tax reporting in collaboration with external tax advisors.
  • Assist the Global Tax Team in the preparation of foreign tax provisions for quarterly and year-end reporting (US GAAP and STAT).
  • Collaborate with third-party advisors to ensure compliance with local transfer pricing documentation as per OECD guidelines.
  • Manage all EU and UK government tax audits in conjunction with external tax advisors.
  • Engage with counterparts in the EU and the U.S. on various tax-related matters and strategies.
  • Document processes in accordance with US Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal audit standards.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of VAT regulations.
  • Strong educational background in Taxation (preferably a university degree focused on tax).
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of German and/or Spanish is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently to achieve objectives.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and methodological skills.
