Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-respected and established automotive group, contributing to a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Executing vehicle services, conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections, and performing MOT assessments.
  • Carrying out duties as specified in the relevant service schedules.
  • Ensuring that all scheduled tasks are completed and documented accurately, including time spent, parts utilized, and consumables used.
  • Identifying and reporting any additional issues discovered beyond the scheduled tasks and obtaining necessary approvals for repairs.
  • Diagnosing, documenting, and resolving vehicle faults and concerns.
  • Employing departmental diagnostic tools and techniques, and consulting franchise systems and equipment as needed.
  • Collaborating with Service Management or Franchise technical support for further assistance when required.
  • Reporting on the causes and implications of issues, estimating repair costs, and securing authorization to proceed with necessary repairs.
Working Hours

This position entails a commitment of 41 hours per week, including one Saturday in four from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
