Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Operative to join our team at Kemnay. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for the construction materials industry and a keen interest in learning more about our products and processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for efficiency, safety, and quality. Full training will be provided, ensuring you're well-prepared to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure quality control of materials and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Load materials, manage supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the site to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Act as a responsible person on site in the manager's absence to ensure continuity of operations.

Requirements:
  • Experience in a Fitter role with a mechanical background.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and manage site operations.
  • A hard-working and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, with the availability for occasional nights and weekends.
  • A genuine interest in the construction materials industry and a commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
