Position Overview

At Home Instead, our Care Professionals are essential to our mission. They provide exceptional support to our clients, fostering meaningful relationships and trust. With a minimum visit duration of one hour, our Care Professionals have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and build strong connections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a positive, compassionate demeanor while assisting individuals in your community.
  • Commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, including some availability on alternate weekends.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: grocery shopping, household chores, prescription collection, meal preparation, accompanying clients to appointments, engaging in hobbies and crafts, and providing personal care (such as bathing, dressing, and grooming).
Qualifications:

No formal qualifications are necessary; however, prior experience in health and social care or customer service is advantageous. Comprehensive training will be provided for the role.

Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, a calm demeanor, and the ability to adapt their approach to meet the diverse needs of clients. A willingness to learn is crucial, as each client is unique and every day presents new challenges.

Additional Information:

This position requires a DBS enhanced disclosure.
