Corporate Tax Manager Opportunity

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join their team in a boutique, well-established, and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks.

This chartered firm of accountants has developed a strong reputation across Kent, the South, and nationally, acting for interesting and growing businesses, including OMBs, SMEs, and large corporates. Due to ongoing growth and future development plans, the partners are looking to bring in a Corporate Tax Manager to bolster their team as a key addition.

This is an exciting position where you will gain experience across all areas of corporate tax, including EIS and R&D, and have the opportunity to lead on corporate finance work, involving prestigious business transactions with big brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with tax advisory work, including EIS and share schemes
  • Help with mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations, and tax due diligence
  • Prepare R&D tax relief claims
  • Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups
  • Oversee and review the corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
  • Supervise more junior members of staff
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with a career background in corporate tax or a mixed tax background
  • Advisory/planning tax experience gained within an accounting firm or tax boutique firm of any size
  • Background developed within a firm of any size environment, from small independent to Top Tier firm background, and looking for a career move offering development and progression potential
