Job Title: SHEQ Officer-Construction or Utilities Sector
Job Summary:
Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Officer to join our team. As a SHEQ Officer, you will be responsible for promoting a safe working culture and ensuring compliance with SHEQ legislation across the construction and utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective SHEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor and audit SHEQ practices, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for corrective action.
- Deliver training workshops and coaching sessions to staff on SHEQ best practices and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SHEQ considerations are integrated into business operations.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
- Experience working in the construction and/or utilities sector.
- Proven experience in H&S risk management.
- Excellent training and coaching skills.
- UK driving license is essential.
