Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Simulator Mechanic to join our team at the Jet2 Training Centre in Bradford. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our flight simulators, working closely with our Flight Simulator Engineers to maintain and repair complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on simulator systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Conduct thorough testing and verification of system performance, identifying and resolving any defects or issues.
  • Manage stock control and inventory of spare parts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work methodically and efficiently.
