Production Operative Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Operative to join our team at DS Smith's Packaging site in Clay Cross. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for safely operating machinery to create packaging products for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate machinery to create packaging products
  • Maximise efficiency and minimise downtime
  • Work to and achieve productivity and performance targets
  • Maintain and clean machinery in line with planned maintenance schedules
  • Work in line with safe systems of work and adhere to UK Health and Safety legislation
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be motivated and quality-conscious
  • FLT Licence (desirable)
